Rates: $110 - $140 per hour (inc. super)
The DTA is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to work as part of our Assurance Strategy & Engagement team to lead the design and delivery of key initiatives associated with the implementation of the system of assurance. This system of assurance which exists under the Assurance Framework for Digital and ICT Investments supports agencies in planning and implementing fit for purpose assurance arrangements for digital investments which help ensure investment objectives are achieved.
You will work as part of a small team made up of policy and strategy advisers, process engineers and designers and engage across the DTA and its stakeholders to prioritise and deliver the constituent and enabling elements required to realise a high-performing system of assurance. This includes delivering internal and agency-facing business processes, guidance and communication materials, analytical workflows and strategic planning (e.g. analysis to map and prioritise uplifts to the system over time including having a key role preparing and maintaining a roadmap for the system of assurance).
The successful applicant will operate with a high level of autonomy and provide strategic advice and counsel to senior executives to shape delivery priorities. The successful applicant will be fully accountable for the delivery of required work and will be expected to work strategically, be flexible, show initiative, and work effectively to help their broader team respond quickly when situations change.
- Demonstrated experience driving the successful delivery of complex work programs, including complex projects/reforms/products. Qualifications in agile delivery will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to identify stakeholder needs, elicit and document stakeholder business requirements, challenge assumptions, break down problems, consider available evidence and present well-reasoned options for consideration.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage the delivery of products using agile techniques and frameworks to ensure delivery of high-quality products and experience. Qualifications in product management will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and develop stakeholder relationships at senior levels including through steering committees and cross-agency engagement in a manner which ensures delivery of products and achievement of expected outcomes and benefits.
